New Office Space

JFM Concepts is moving sales and production a few hundred yards away to the coolest office space in Broadripple! The 1903 New York Central - Lakeshore Line Caboose is a local landmark and located right on the Monon Trail, making a bike commute a piece a cake. Both Eleanor and Jim frequently cycle to work and the location can’t be beat. If you are local or ever in town, make sure you come to see us.

The new address is: 6535 Cornell Avenue, Indianapolis IN 46220

Caboose

The Caboose is actually known as NYC19008. It was built in 1904 and was part of the New York Central Lakeshore Lines. In the late 1960's, the Caboose got hitched to a line of rail cars that were a part of the Monon Rail System and rode the Monon rails for many years. When the railroad went bankrupt in the 1970's, NYC19008 was left on the side spur of the rail line, along with another similar caboose that has since been demolished.

Farewell to Josh Driver

As many of you may already know, Josh Driver has left JFM after three years to pursue other opportunities. We wish him the best of luck in his new endeavors, wherever they may lead him.

Connections 2011

James Michelson spoke at the Exact Target users conference Connections 2011 on cross media marketing to a very large audience recently. Even at a conference sponsored by one the biggest and best names in email marketing, the power of direct mail and print is recognized.

As marketers, our charge is to harness the power of technology and one-to-one communications to generate truly personalized, relevant messages to our customers. Connections 2011 gave attendees the tools and insight they need to make your messages more powerful, and provide them with creativity and inspiration that will impact so much more than professional development.

Go West Young Man...Westward Ho!

John is taking the technical side of the house back to his roots in Colorado. As a graduate of Telluride High School, the flat and gray of the Midwest is more than this mountain man can handle. This change should be completely transparent as John opens and expands his computer geek domain in Denver. Westward Ho!

From the corner office: 2012 First Look

There is no doubt that the first quarter of 2012 will be a challenge across many sectors. A shaky economy, weak employment numbers, and uncertainty in how governments worldwide will respond will make for hard times. We are certain of a few things. Marketing practitioners at all levels will be under increasing pressure to justify every penny expended and to prove return on investment on each project. They in turn will require service providers to have the systems and technologies in place to provide the data to prove effectiveness while at the same time cutting costs. New budget items will continue to be a challenge to add to the mix, so service providers will need to maximize involvement in the current budget structure. If you are not yet involved in all aspects of your clients media mix, now is the time to start, and we will not be surprised to see recent gains in traditional media level off or slip in the coming year.
